A diet help question that should definitely interest you all this week
Question: Ok So Im only 13 and Im too embarrassed to tell my parents Im dieting because telling people Im dieting always makes me self conscious then I quit. Ok so since Im 13 I cant actually leave the house to exercise so I just run in my room in place for 30 minutes every day. And sometimes watch workout videos. But the whole food thing in my problem, what foods can I buy that don’t look to much like Im trying to diet? Oh btw Im 5′3 ( maybe 5′4 or 5′5 im really not sure ) and I weigh 155 LBS ( ha ha I feel special I used to weigh 160 ) Oh and is there anything that I should know about dieting?
Answer: If you want to start dieting I recommend you count how many calories you eat on an average day. Write down all the foods you eat normally and then replace them with foods on the list below. You want take out at least 500 calories from your daily diet. If you follow this you should start losing 1-2 pounds a week easily. It may seem slow at first, but after 2 months that’s about 15 pounds. Cut out sweets, fried foods, and sodas. Remember drinking plenty of water the start of good dieting (70-80 fl.oz. daily).
Stick with healthy foods:
-Fish
-Lean meats
-Eggs
-Nuts
-Fruits
-Veggies
-Low-fat milk
A diet help question that should definitely interest you all this week
Question: Okay so Ive been on a diet since March 30 and Ive lost 33.5 pounds I was @ 250 and friday i was @ 216.5
yay !! But I got the flu yesterday and I was feeling terrible my parents say its because I havent been eating well. But guess what they are sick and got me sick
ughhhhhh since no one could cook they decided to buy whoppers and i ate one with french fries they told me to eat it cause I havent been eating good so i ate it , hopefully I can go back to my diet plan tomorrow again thanks:D oh and in the morning i ate chicken noodles thanks in advance
Answer: When you are that sick, you need to eat a lot so you can get your nutrients and what not, You need to fuel your body so your body can fight off the disease. If you ignore my advice then sleep as much as you can. So you will not feel guilty, the right way to diet is to be strict and watch what you eat for six days a week, Then when that seventh day comes around( mine is Saturday), eat whatever you want until you do not want to look at that piece of food for another work. My weakness is chocolate. See when you have what I like to call your fat day, by eating all that chocolate my body becomes turned upside down. Your metabolism skyrockets and triggers your fat burners. I’ve read in Men’s Health that this is the best way to lose that tummy without exercising, but that is only half of it. A diet can truly work, if you workout. Good luck and get well soon!
A tough diet help question this week. Let’s dive straight in
Question: Ok so I am 11 year old girl. (My parents gave me permission to use this website) and I am about 106 or 107 in weight. I don’t want any of those sites where they teach you to not eat, throw up, eat chemical food and horrible things like that. We ALL know that crud doesn’t even work. I would like to lose 5-10 pounds by June with exercises and eating right. I have the eating part down but I need some help with the exercises. We live in a trailer park and our car doesn’t work, so what can I do for exercises? I need daily activities because I want to be used to exercising every day. So can you give me daily exercises and work out plans, how many calories it would or should burn (if you know) and how long it would take (approx.) to lose 5-ish pounds. Thanks so much in advance!
Answer: Drink plenty of water!!! I cannot stress that enough for diets. Though a lot of people with eating disorder do this, its also just a good way to keep your body health and focussed. Make sure your eating a well balanced meal. maybe cut down on some of the fats and sugars. (not all though haha) excersizing is great! have a dog, go out for a walk once a day. if not, go out and do something fun like ride your bike, do gymnastics, jump rope, ect. by june you shoudl atleast lose some weight. but youll be a lot healthier and fit
This week’s question is as follows:
Question: Okay, I just came from a party. This birthday party of a neighbour of mine. My parents were there, and my mum brought this small plate of food for me. The plate contained: a piece of baked chicken, some rice, vegetabled, and a piece of yam. I ate it all up, then drank a soda. I feel horrible now. I haven’t eaten such food at such a time in so long. It’s 11:13 pm where I live, and I feel horrible. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How much extra weight am I going to put on? I use to weigh 250 lbs and i l’ve lost 50 lbs, but I still retain some body fat. How do I get rid of it?
I exercise twice a day.
Answer: One big meal is not going to ruin your diet. Forget about it and keep up your program.
‘Soda’ (we call it fizzy drink here) is full of sugar and is just the worse thing you can have. Cut out all carbonated drinks (Unless its sparkling water).
Keep the diet help questions coming! I liked this one:

Another diet help question has come in this week. Let’s tackle it straight away:
Question: How can I lose weight while living at home? I eat what my parents eat so I can’t buy salads and things unless my parents have it?
Can someone advise me on how to lose weight while living at home?
I want to lose 20kg.
I’m 18 and I am 165cm and I weigh 75kg so I am way over weight.
Please some helpful answers…
Answer: According to Paul McKenna, there are 4 rules to losing weight.
1. Eat when you’re hungry. Your body knows when it needs food and when it doesn’t. (Explain to your parents that you know you’re overweight and you’re trying to get it under control before it becomes a health concern like diabetes.)
2. Eat what you want, not what you think you should have. This will keep you from feeling deprived.
3. Eat consciously and enjoy each mouthful. Pay attention to what you’re eating. Don’t read the paper, watch television, have conversations, or do anything else while you’re eating. And especially stay away from the computer. By paying attention to each bite and chewing slowly and deliberately enjoying each mouthful, you’re giving your body the opportunity to let you know when it’s had enough.
4. When you’re full, stop eating.
As you get used to following these rules, you’ll find you’re leaving food on your plate after each meal, or that you’re starting to take smaller portions or both. Soon you’ll find that you’re losing weight a little bit at a time. Remember that it’s not healthy to lose too much at once because your skin can’t snap back immediately. You won’t want to lose more than a kg (and probably a little less) each week to keep within a healthy range.
Well here’s a question I just had to answering straight away:
Question: I checked my bmi. Im 12, 60 inches, and 117 pounds. Im
considered obese. Id like to be a healthy weight, which is about 104. Im not gonna do anything hurtful or harmful to my body. Can someonereccomend a good way to shed about 9 pounds? Please i really need some help my parents agree with my doctor. Help.
Answer: And what does your doctor say? Your perfectly fine? Your bmi is actually in the normal range. It’s 22. Obese is over 30 percent body fat. A person your age needs 2000 calories or more for growth. So keep eating that much but eat healthy. Eat lean meats, veggies, fruits, whole grain and whole wheat products, seeds, nuts, low fat dairy, water and tea without sugar. Green tea is the best. Don’t consume the artificial sugars either. They act like sugar in your body and just make you hungry later on. Plus they are actually worse for you than actual sugar. Also don’t eat many processed foods. Just fresh ones. Do exercise. You should do about 45 minutes of cardio and some light weight training. Don’t go too hard since you are only 12. I would still say work every muscle in your body but only do like 1-2 sets of 7-10 reps instead of 3 sets of 10-15 reps. Once you are older you can do more sets with more reps.
This week’s question is as follows:
Question: Okay, so i’m going on vacation next week and my family ALWAYS goes to the Pancake Pantry. I was never on a diet when I went there before & my parents both already told me I HAVE to eat here. So what’s the healthiest thing I could get besides cereal? Thanks! Still trying to go from 130-120 at 5′8 (:
ALSO! I don’t like eggs AT ALL or omlettes or veggies. And i’m going in the morning, so don’t tell me to get a sandwich or salad. Thanks!

Answer: cereal IS NOT healthy! you’re not interested in healthy, cause you HAVE to eat veggies to be healthy. go with fresh fruit then or use it as your cheat day and cheat, then get back on your diet if that what you want to call it!
