Answer: it’s not a good diet.. You need more options in your diet. Try greek yogurt, lots of protein, little fat. Plus you need to eat fruits and vegetables. About 5 servings a day. Going vegetarian will help you lose weight as long as you don’t replace meat with junk food. Berries are great, they help cut stomach fat and the fiber helps you poop. An orange instead of orange juice will actually help you cut out calories (fruit juices contain a lot of calories). Try eating beans and legumes.. They are packed with fiber and protein as long as you pair them with a whole grain such as brown rice. Meat that is over 90% lean(eat a 3 oz serving, which is about the size of a deck of cards) is a good option with steamed vegetables that fill up more than half the plate and some brown rice that fills up about a quater of the plate
This week’s question is a good one. Let’s have a look:
Question: Hey y’all
My close friend, which I love to bits, has a really low level of self esteem and confidence. She beautiful- honest but a bit on the chubby side. She is around 5′8 and has a medium-largish body type. She is over weight, and needs to loose around 20-23 kgs to be healthy. She gets depressed about this often and always compares herself to others including me, and it really gets me down that she’s so sad. I love exercising and sports so I often motivate her to join me. She asked me before for diets or other people but no one provides her with EXACTLY what to eat. She won’t go to the doctor for one because she’s embarrassed about her weight. Can someone please give me a diet plan for her to follow, which can make her loose weight by June (20 kg at least) so that we can enjoy summer in her new slim look?? I know she’s beautiful and I tell her this but if loosing weight will make her happy then I’ll help her do it. I’m going to do exercise and diet with her to motivate her too- so she’ll be happier with it all.
So basically a diet which will make a 14 (going on 15) year old girl loose 20 kgs by June. Oh and considering she does 30 min exercise per day! We reaaally don’t have any more time right now!
Pleease help! Oh and I really want a list like
Breakfast-
1 hard boiled egg
4 olives
1 french toast
orange juice
Like that type of thing
Answer: hmm. Well for starters if you (whoops, i mean your friend
) wants to loose weight she first has to think that it is not a diet. And it really isn’t about counting the calories you put into your body, it’s about filling your body with the right nutrients. When you do fill your body with its essential vitamins and nutrients then your body will naturally be in the range of a healthy weight for a young fourteen year old.
Thirty minutes of exercise per day is really good and keeps the body healthy and active. That would be a good start if you want to loose weight!
Onto food. No-one can really give you an exact list of what you should eat although you are looking for a list so your friend can follow by. Everybodies body is different. Therefore what we put in our body will create different outcomes.
I could just give you some guidelines to go by, but you should apply it to yourself. Breakfast is the main meal of the day as that is the starting meal to keep you going. And since it is the starting meal you should fill your body with food that is enriched with a source of energy. Having a big breakfast it good, and you should really fill your tummy up. But not too much, everything in moderation.
Usually protein in the morning is good too. Bananas are also very good as they are the healthy option for a source of energy, unlike lollies. Also, what I like to drink in the morning is a boiled cup of water with a slice of lemon in it. This should wake you up more than coffee! It also helps kick the metabolism in, meaning that it should work better.
You should have snacks in between your main meals (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) Nuts and fruits and veges are the way to go. Walnuts are very good for you. You could even try to mix vegies into your snacks and make it interesting. For example, carrot slices dipped in Hummus. You can try various dips.
For lunch, a healthy sandwich is what I usually eat. Chicken, lettuce and tomato is my favorite and it is really healthy as well. Also, having a cup of orange juice is not a bad idea.
Dinner. There are many things you could have for dinner, so I am not going to name them all. You could try steamed vegies, brown rice.
Throughout the day you should drink at least 1.5 litres of water for a fourteen year old.
Also remember that depriving yourself from certain foods isn’t the right way to go. Just try to keep everything in moderation. If you feel like some chocolate, have a little bit. This is where self control comes into play!
Anyway, I hope i helped!
Answer mine? thanks

A diet help question that should definitely interest you all this week
Question: Last week I only had a shake, two granola bars,Maybe three glasses of orange juice orange juice,a small piece of pizza and water. All last week. That’s not really under the amount of calories I need. It’s not like I just had water. This isn’t the reason why I sometimes don’t eat but I don’t like seeing other people eat or people seeing me eating. I will eat but I just don’t like it at all. I’m not starving my self but I sometimes get this feeling where I want to be under weight. Do you not say no you don’t because that will really piss me off. I know its not a good thing. I am not asking you to give me a lecture about that. And also sometimes I think about suicide. I wish I could just poof away. This is actually quite often. Again I would NEVER commit suicide. NEVER. I know how much it would hurt my family and friends.
I’m 13. If you need information just tell me.
Idea’s Thoughts anything about this would be great.
*more information*
Don’t say therapy or talk to someone please please please. I am not here for you guys to tell me that. I am already in therapy because of something else. Thank you.
I am not going to take any medication that you guys tell me to either.
Answer: Being thin at 13 is not so bad. But don’t get anorexic. It has something to do with a past event or something. Because it does not happen very often that people don’t like to be seen eating. Or see others eat. In other words it is something in your mind that makes you think this way. When you eat, eat healthy and take vitamins for women. Eat at least one meal a day. If you don’t the organs in your body will start failing.
I’m glad to know you won’t commit suicide. You are young. Go out, have fun. Go buy something you like. too young to be thinking like that.
