Question: I stopped doing Ballet and Swimming for about a year or so and want to get back into it. Any ideas on a diet plans you know of? A diet plan?

Answer: Best thing you can do is talk to your doctor about a diet and he’ll give you a great healthy diet.

PLEASE Help Me with My Fitness & Diet Plan!?

We’ve had a reader question come in on the subject of diet help. Let’s take a look:

Question: Hi! School starts on the 8th & volleyball starts on the 6th. I would like to start my plan on Monday the 29th & then probably start an easier one that will fit with my school schedule on the Friday or Saturday after. This is just my Monday plan so far & I am asking you to help me add some things to the end. I plan on having a similar plan each day but add jumping in the trampoline to some days and taking away other things.Just to let you know I plan to finish the day by watching The lying Game (Monday night) at 9 & drink some sleepy tea to help me fall asleep. So here is my plan!

6:20- breakfast~ fiber one cereal & strawberry & banana smoothie.
7:00- run the perimeter of the neighborhood.
7:30- do an an circle video.
7:45- take a shower.
8:00- read my book for 20 minutes.
8:20- put a load of laundry in the washer, bring my dog for a walk around the perimeter of my neighborhood, put the load in the drier & dance to music until its done.
9:50- fold laundry and watch tv for a half an hour.
10:30- make a cup of tea and read for another twenty minutes.
11:00- clean room & dance to music.
11:30- work on my summer project.
12:15- Lunch!~ half a panini (from weight watchers) with a cut up apple & peanut butter & water.
12:45- walk my dog for 15 minutes.
1:05- do 100 situps, 50 push UPS, stretch!
1:30- watch tv for an hour & do crunches on commercials.
2:30- play with my dog.
3:00- get some veggies & dip & go in the basement and do 15 squats for 60 seconds each & eat in between.

So from there I am asking you PLEASE help me plan the rest of the day. What should I do? & yes I will be drinking a ton of water in between & refilling my dogs water bowl (: I thought I might as well start waking up early and going to sleep earlier to get ready for school. & that I should keep myself busy for the day.

Answer: Everything looks fine. Man this makes me want to go make an exercise schedule :)

Is This a Good Diet, Idk Please Help Me, I Don't Know What to Do!?

Question: Here is my diet plan:
Breakfast:Bowl of Cheerios, 1 Red apple, and White bread toast with a little butter.
After Breakfast, I wait 30-60 minutes for it to digest, then I do 20 sit ups, 10 push ups, and 50 jumping jacks, then i watch t.v. or go online or play with my dog, then i eat lunch:
2 Turkey sandwiches (or PB&J’s) and 1 bottle of water or a cup or two of milk and i eat half a big carrot like 10 inches long, and another red apple and sometimes crackers
Then I do 20 sit ups, 10 push ups and 50 jumping jacks
then i watch t.v., go online or play with my dog or family time
Dinner:Idk something healthy

Please tell me if this is good or bad, and add-ins or add-outs plz i weight 130 pounds and i wanna weigh 100 pounds in 2-3 months

Answer: That’s good but don’t eat white breads! Eat whole wheat bread. NO WHITE FOODS. Drink lots of water. Don’t do alot of sit-ups. It only gives you stomach muscle and makes your stomach look more bigger. You can’t pick an area to burn fat off. Your body chooses it. The only way to lose weight quickly is by walking,jogging,running,biking, or swimming for 30 minutes, 5 days a week.

Can Someone Help Me Make a Diet Plan?

We’ve had a reader question come in on the subject of diet help. Let’s take a look:

Question: Well I’m 17 (male, 5′8, 215lbs)

Ive been big since 2 grade and I always say during the summer I would go on a diet but never do, I always say I’ll start next week and never happens. Most of my weight is in my torso, thats my main area of concern. My arms and legs have fat on them but thats not the major problem for me. I want to loose maybe 30-50lbs within 6months. The thing is I dont really know anything about diets and exercise, I have looked things up but do not really understand.

So… can someone tell me how I should start to do this.
(What to eat, how much, when. Workout when, doing what, for how long)

I go to school from 7:30-3:00 so I cant do anything during that time….
Then I work 5 days a week at a fast food place, doesnt help. (about 30hrs a wk)

My main concern though is when I’m at school my stomach always growls really loud at certain times so I make myself eat a lot in the morning. If I’m at home or at work and dont eat my stomach doesnt growl, only at school.

I have equipment to do normal weight lifting and a treadmill, I can buy my own food and vitamins.

I really just need to know how I should do everything, any advice is wanted.

Answer: eat 6 smalller meals a day. Healthy non- greasy foods that are good calories. Loosing weight is like a mathematical formula. If the amount of calories you take in is greater than the amount you burn, you gain weight. if you are burning more than you take in you loose weight. So this is what you should do. Wake up, have breakfest (eggs, toast, no eggos,toaster strudals, bacon or read meat), bring a granola bar to school and have that as your snack around 4 hours after breakfest, then eat lunch, ( lean meats, healthy food, salad), then when you get home have another snack about 3/4 hours after lunch, then if you can work out for about an hour or so ( if you are concentrainting on loosing weight and not really gaining any muscle then do an hour of cardio, if you want to turn your fat into muscle like i would, lift hard for an hour or so. Lifing burns almost as many calories as cardio) then eat dinner (again healthy foods) then have a snack a couple hours before bed. Dieting is 85% of how you loose weight. you could run your life away but if you eat 5 big macs everyday then your still going to stay the same. Look up a good diet plan and stick to it. you will loose weight faster than you think.

I Need a Good Diet Plan to Help Me Gain Weight.?

A diet help question that should definitely interest you all this week

Question: Ok I’m going to be in college so money is very limited, however I do have a full kitchen so I can cook whatever I want (to an extent) My question is what can I buy that would be good, filling, and cost effective.
I am going to be working out also so I wanna gain muscle weight not fat. I don’t like any seafood or oatmeal and I know those are good..so what are some good options.
Answer: Trail Mix screams cost effective and filling.
Go to the bulk barn (they should have one in your area) and fill up bags with peanuts, sun flower seeds, and any other nuts you like. Mix it together and presto, you have yourself a snack that is high in healthy fats, and proteins. It’s really cheap (cause you’ll be buying everything in bulk).
You can even add some sort of sweet chocolate candy too it if you’d like.

As for a meal plan,, here’s one thats easy on the wallet.

meal 1:
2 slices of bread.
1 cup of fruit of choice
2 Scrambled eggs
smoothie (with whey protein in it)

meal 2:
1 cup of trail mix -
1 cup of fruit of choice
water

meal 3 (lunch):
Turkey wrap - ( 1 tortilla filled with 2 tbsp guacamole, turkey, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese)
Yogurt (any flavour)
handful of pretzels

Optional: Another handful/cup of trail mix if your hungry.

meal 4 (dinner);
1 bowl of chilli (make a giant bowl one week, and you can have some for dinner another night, and take some for lunch one day )
1 cup of vegtables of choice
A potato.

meal 5 (snack):
2 cups of fruit
2 oz cheese
protein drink

You should be eating 5-6 small(er) meals a day (as shown above) instead of 3 large(r) ones.
Invest in a blender and some whey protein so that you can make protein drinks, shakes and smoothies.

Would This Diet Plan Help Me Lose 10 Pounds in 2 Months?

What’s this week’s question? Let’s dive straight in…

Question: Hey! Ok so I’m 110 pounds and 5′3. Do u think this plan would help me lose 10 pounds in a little over a month? What should I change?

Breakfast- 1cup special k with 1/2 cup silk milk and 1cup of green tea with no sugar

Lunch- 1slice of wheat toast with 1 large egg and 1 1/2 cup of strawberrys

Snacks- 1 extra large peach OR apple with 2 TBSP of peanut butter

Dinner- whatever moms making but in a small portion OR a Lean Cuisine Meal

For exersise I do 20 minutes on the eliptical (burns around 250-300 calories) and then I do 30 minutes of cardio. Also I’m going to do 50-100 crunches everyday and jump rope for a few minutes.

Do u think I can lose 10 pounds in 1 month if I do this everyday? ( don’t worry my diet will vary from different foods) please answer!!! And thanks so much:)have a great day:)

Answer: Hi Dana,

I think this is totally not enough to eat for that level of exercise. Your body will go into starvation mode and you will lose less. If you eat more protein and a lot more veggies, you will feel waaaaay better, stay healthy and lose weight.

Have about 20 grams of protein at each meal and then a big salad with your protein. Same for dinner and then add some great carbs like brown rice. Watch your metabolism fire up!

I run a special nutrition program and we have a lot of really kewl athletes who feel fabulous, look great and are rockin.

I Need Help Figuring out a Diet Plan.?

Question: Im 15 and i weigh 195, I know that im over weight. Oh, yeah im 5′7". I have 7 weeks til school and i wanna lose atleast 25 to 30 pounds. Any ideas i how i can go about that. Like foods to eat and when to exercise. THANKSXZ.
Answer: okay, to get into shape , speed up your metabolism, rid yourself of excess fat and lose weight ,,,,,do as follows:

Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly)
eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a food/rice steamer to make it easy on you)…(vegetables might not seem "tasty", like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)…avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc…and drink water . If you eat meat ,,use only steamed, baking or grilled methods for preparing fish or chicken.

also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise.

* you should lose about 10 lbs per month

Question: I’m 16, 5′9" and I weigh 115 pounds, whenever I would finish eating I felt guilty because I really don’t want to gain any weight but I want to lose weight so I started trying to make myself throw up (I know it’s unhealthy)…but I couldn’t anyways, so instead I stopped eating most of the time so now I eat less then 200 calories a day, anyways I want to be healthy and eat food but I still want to lose 15 pounds so I’m not as fat because I don’t want to be able to grab stomach fat at all cuz it’s gross, so I need advice on what to eat so I can lose 15 pounds fast … And what exercises I can do (besides yoga and running/walking cuz I already do that)

Can You Help Me out with a Diet Plan?

A diet help question that should definitely interest you all this week

Question: Ok So Im only 13 and Im too embarrassed to tell my parents Im dieting because telling people Im dieting always makes me self conscious then I quit. Ok so since Im 13 I cant actually leave the house to exercise so I just run in my room in place for 30 minutes every day. And sometimes watch workout videos. But the whole food thing in my problem, what foods can I buy that don’t look to much like Im trying to diet? Oh btw Im 5′3 ( maybe 5′4 or 5′5 im really not sure ) and I weigh 155 LBS ( ha ha I feel special I used to weigh 160 ) Oh and is there anything that I should know about dieting?
Answer: If you want to start dieting I recommend you count how many calories you eat on an average day. Write down all the foods you eat normally and then replace them with foods on the list below. You want take out at least 500 calories from your daily diet. If you follow this you should start losing 1-2 pounds a week easily. It may seem slow at first, but after 2 months that’s about 15 pounds. Cut out sweets, fried foods, and sodas. Remember drinking plenty of water the start of good dieting (70-80 fl.oz. daily).

Stick with healthy foods:
-Fish
-Lean meats
-Eggs
-Nuts
-Fruits
-Veggies
-Low-fat milk

I Really Cant Diet :( Someone Please Help Me :(?

Question: i really have tried everything, ive given up :(
i feel so disgusting :(
always bloated and feeling gross, i eat healthy too! i dont starve or anything but seriously it just DOESNT work :( please give me a diet plan somebody!!!!!!!!!!!
Answer: Eating right and exercising is probably less then half of what a diet really is. Most of a diet is all about motivation and discipline. Lots of people diet but they burn out usually after a couple of weeks because they lose motivation. If you really want to change your life you need to keep yourself motivated. Set a goal, changing your life doesn’t happen overnight. Stick to it, this is where discipline comes in. Discipline is the ability to keep your rules when your the only one enforcing them. If you can’t stick to it you will fail. Diet and exercise are a very small part of a diet.
