Phentermine 37.2mg Diet Pills. HELP?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: I have been taking phentermine on and off for 2 years. I had a long gap off them and started them again in june. But i have missed my periods for 0ver 2 month now. This never happened last time. I have done preg tests all come back neg. As anyone else had this and turned out was preg or it was from taking the pills?
Answer: Phentermine is a a very powerful drug and one side effect could be interruption of cycling.
I hope you are working with your doctor and didn’t just decide to finish out an old prescription.
If you got the pills without a prescription they are either not real phentermine or an unapproved substitute.
Talk to your doctor.

My Dog Ate Diet Pills, Please Help?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: My dogs got into my Thermo CLA diet pills. I believe there were around 70-something pills in the bottle. Now there are probably less than 10. Both my dogs got into the diet pills and I don’t know how much each one had. Both are small dogs (black cockerspaniels) and weigh anywhere from 19-24 pounds. Dog1 is shaky and I can tell the caffeine is killing her nerves. She is not wagging her tail and when she tried to jump up to get some food from me, she was extremely unstable. She fell back on her head. She is very thirsty, but barely seems to be actually drinking much water.

Dog2 isn’t as shaky as dog1, but she seems to be vomiting more frequently. I haven’t actually seen Dog1 vomit, but I do believe she has. However, I have seen Dog2 vomit a few times. Dog2 cannot seem to sit still or find a comfortable spot in the room to lay down. She and Dog1 keep switching spots and rolling around on the carpet (like how the dogs rub their ears).

Both seem very uncomfortable. Both are thirsty. Both are panting.

I am extremely worried about them, but taking them to the vet is not an option for me. I have not induced vomiting in either of them, as I see that at least Dog2 is vomiting on her own. I am keeping their water bowl full, but they are pretty much ignoring it. Dog2 keeps making mysterious trips to the bathroom though, presumably to drink from he toilet, even though they won’t drink from the water bowl too much.

I have no clue what to do. I can’t believe they got into that many pills, and they’re small dogs. I have no clue what to do. I’m so afraid for them right now and I wish I could just take them to the vet and make everything better, but I can’t.

Can anyone give me any insight to what may happen to them from this point on? Will they die? I know their heart must be pumping extremely fast since caffeine speeds the heart. ugh. No clue what to do.

@Lia:::::::::::::: Maybe I was not clear enough when I said "Taking them to the vet is NOT an option for me." I would appreciate it if you would not insult my intelligence with your answer. I would not keep any living creature from getting medical attention if I could actually do something. Thus, when I say that getting help won’t work for me, I mean that getting help won’t work for me. Which is why I would like some help on what could happen to them, the very worse…death.

If you are going to chastise me for not taking them to the vet and declaring a death sentence for them, then please, by all means pick me up and take me to the vet and pay for it to while you’re at it.

I appreciate all three of your answers. I am trying to contact the owner of our nearest doggie daycare, as she gave us both of the dogs years ago and usually willing to help when they are sick or not doing well.
I cannot take them to the vet at the moment because I do not have a way to get there and I simply do not have the money. It is not my decision. It is my moms. If my mum had to choose, i’m sure she’d rather her medicine coming in at two thousand a month, then the dogs though we love them to death. I’d rather have a mum.

Answer: There is a credit card that accepts most people called Care Credit and with it you can take your dogs to the vet TODAY because they accept you and give you the numbers that will be on your permanent card over the phone. You can call your emergency vet and he may come to your house to get the dogs, some are just that loving. You can try your police non emergency line too for a ride, tell them that you are just a kid and can’t drive them there. Please try for the doggies, I’m worried they may not live to see morning. Can Anyone Help Me with a Diet?

Question: My new diet is a nutrigrain in the morning with a bottle of water with the crystalite raspberry ice peanuts for lunch and dinner. Can you give me an idea of a different diet I would like to switch it up on Fridays
I don’t want any diet pills I’m only 20 pounds over weight I am 4.11 in height and I weigh 134
Answer: maybe have something aside from peanuts. Afterall, a cup of peanuts is almost 900 cals. how about a skinless boneless chicken breast? You can have a chicken breast (90 cals), a salad with light italian dressing (50-100 cals) a baked potato (250-300) with a tbsp margerine (25). a lot more food for almost 400 cals less

PLEASE HELP! Am Taking Penicillin VK Does It Decrease The Penicillin if I Take Diet Pills at the Same Time?..?

Another diet help question has come in this week. Let’s tackle it straight away:

Question: The Ingredientes or The diet pills is what follows
Ingredients: Lingzhi,Ebony,Fox-Nut, Tuckahoe, Pruni, Dioscoreae,Wheat Germ,Nature Substance.
I have an important event ion the 26th & Want to take these diet pills but I dot want them to interfere with the penicillin I am taking,have an infected teeth that is infected and bleeding I want the Infection I have to be completely removed.I just want to be super sure,it does not decrease penicillin straight,
Am taking the 500 mg 3x A Day.
Answer: I can’t find any known interactions with those ingredients. I also can’t find any history of use for weight loss with those ingredients. The pruni is listed as possibly unsafe all by itself (some parts of the plant contain cyanide). There is also an FDA warning out for certain diet pills that are adulterated with unlisted prescription medications:

(If the pills are adulterated, then there isn’t a way to know for sure whether it would interact with the penicillin, and it could be dangerous for other reasons.) I would recommend not taking this diet pill.

Answer: perhaps you got really sick because of your diet and will not recover as fast if you don’t eat. take th meds. your health first

Question: ok im 12 years old a white female, im 5′1 114 pounds!!! i feel way fat. all my friends wear a xs in aeropostale & i wear a medium in aero. n i have a lil muffin top. its not fair, i can’t wear tight shirts, cuz im so self conshius about me stomach that my stomach cant even be visible in my shirts. but can u give me some diets, that wont stunt my growth or something. all i wanna do is wear a 00 and xs like everybody else, and no i won’t throw up, don’t be sarcastic or rude or judgemental!

Answer: You’re 12. Most likely, if you don’t eat crap, you’ll lose it anyway.
When I was 12, I was your height and weighed about 147 pounds. Now, I’m almost 14, I’m 5"5 and I weigh about 119, which is normal. I didn’t do anything but be healthy.
And trust me, when you’re losing the weight, everyone else is going to be putting on weight. Looking like a doll isn’t all that great anyway. . .

Diet Pills!!! HELP!!?

Question: How old do you have to be to buy Quick Trim???Can 14 year olds buy it and is it healthy for 14 year olds to use it?????and if not is it another diet pill other than quick trim I can buy without an adult????
Answer: Hi,

It depends on the store. Some stores might allow it and some won’t allow it, but its not worth buying them. Diet pills wont help you lose weight it will just be a waste of your money. The best way to lose weight is eating a lot of leafy green veggies, fruits, lean protein and whole grains. Also to do daily exercise everyday. You will not see results right away, but don’t become discouraged.

Did you know that increasing your metabolism can help in reducing fat? A good way that I found out is to eat several small meals a day, it tricks your body into thinking that food is abundant so it will convert most of the food you eat into energy instead of fat.

Workout and Diet Plan. Help?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: So, I’m gonna start working out this Monday (today’s Saturday), I plan on doing alot of cardio and Weights, I also plan on getting an exercise bike soon.

So, I’m 17
5′6"
268 lbs

Let’s say I jump on the bike for 1 hour, than switch to weights for about 30 minutes, than go onto more cardio ( Skip rope, Push ups etc) another 30 minutes, If I did this for say 5 days out of the week, for, atleast 6-8 months, would I see any weight loss?, my eating habits have gotten alot better, more healthier, no more chips and pop, lately its been salads and water, which has been great, I still plan on making a diet plan for my workouts too, So, this weekend is basically coming up with my workout routine and diet, help?

oh yeah, please no "try these new diet pills" crap, or " i lost 10 lbs in 10 mins and alls i did was fart!"

Answer: I’m 16 years old and I am a major athlete, including being a Varsity Wrestler (So I know a lot about weight loss b/c of wrestling), and from the information you have listed I can recommend the following for you:

-Since you are just beginning working out your regime may be too intense, I would say you should do the bike for an hour as you said (lightly), lift weights for about 45 minutes (use weights where your repetition abilities do not surpass nine, and do at least 3 sets of each work out you plan for), but do not do calisthenics- it may be too tough for you to do at this phase.

-Walk every day for an hour(+), either before or after a work out, and do not lift weights every day// your body must take 48 hours to rebuild and recooperate. Your monthly weight lifting schedule should be every other day and look somewhat like the following: M W F/ Su Tu Th/ Sa/ M W F/ Su Tu Th/ Sa/…and so on.

-If you stay dedicated, work out properly, and eat the proper nutrients, you will eventually find that you have cut down a significant- yet healthy amount of weight.

- (also I recomend a 2200-2700 calorie p/d system if you work out as much I have recommended- and if you eat fast food limit it to one meal p/w, and keep the amount of artificial sugar {such as candy} you eat severly limited. Eat a lot of fruit, vegitables, and protein// I recommend baked chicken as a meat source, it a wreslter’s best friend for pleasure & pluck in the food category.)

Help on Dieting? I Was Looking into the Special K Diet, Since Others Hadn't Worked. Help Me Please?

Question: I am nearly 17 years old and I’ve been struggling with weight all my life. I’m 5′10" and I’m not in a healthy weight class for it and I am dedicated to change that once and for all.
I’ve tried Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers point counting without actually being a member, Atkins diet, Slimfast a while ago, Southbeach diet, and some others but they didn’t work for me. I’m looking to turn my life around and I need help starting to take steps to do so again.
I am not looking for diet pills since I know that’s not healthy, but I am hoping for something that I can see some results from fairly easily so I won’t get discouraged and give up.
I know that exercise and dieting go hand in hand and I’m working on that, but I was running out of diet plans to try. I was thinking about trying the Special K diet and maybe try signing up for Weight Watchers.
What direction should I go in? Have these diets been successful for any of you? I just want to find an example that I can have help setting my plan on.

Please as many answers as possible! I really need help with this, I am tired of being the overweight kid and am working on getting healthy and more self confidence.

Answer: Hmmm…

Well I can’t tell you that the Special K diet will work, or that any other diet will work for that matter - but I can give you some advice on how to eat and maybe what exercises you can do.

"Diet": So this might sound strange but try to eat six times a day in SMALL portions. This will help you speed up your metabolism. In the morning eat carbs, preferably oatmeal and/or bread (wheat because it digests better) and maybe fruit. It is important to eat carbs earlier in the day so that you have the energy to go throughout the day which you will burn and won’t accumulate into fat. As for the other meals just try to eat your balance of fruits (but not to much because the sugars are carbs), veggies, protein, etc. Make sure to drink A LOT OF WATER and avoid a lot of sugar or salt. Sugar is carbs and salt retains water weight.

Exercise: Since you are looking to lose weight try walking a lot you can run also but if you do decide to run make sure to eat healthy because your body needs the energy to run, if it doesn’t it will basically eat away at your muscle and not your fat. When doing cardio realize that you must push yourself 45 minutes is minimum and your best results will come from going beyond 45 minutes of cardio. Swimming is also a really good full body workout. Crunches are good also but if you are trying to work out your stomach then I would suggest leg lifts (lay on your back hands under your lower back and raise your legs up and bring them back down but don’t allow them to touch the floor - you will feel the burn!) they do what crunches do and more. If you are trying to tone up your whole body, use small weights like 5 or 10lbs to accompany others workouts such as (lunges, squats, curls, etc.).

This is what I followed to get more lean and cut and it worked it also worked for my cousin.
