Well here’s a question I just had to answering straight away:
Question: I know that losing a rapid amount of weight in a short time is very very unhealthy but I have an event coming up in approx 7 days and I’ve heard of this diet. I just want to lose 3 or 4 kg but Now say if I do this diet for the sake of the event and then really really properly diet for about 1 month or so, will I maintain the lost weight permenantly or for long term? Because I need to lose about 4 kg minimum for the event. I need as much as help as possible. Thank You.
Answer: crash diets are a terrible idea! no one should ever consume less than 1500 calories a day. it’s just dangerous. I know two people with eating disorders and crash diets are just the beginning to a life long struggle with an eating disorder.
On another note, I’m currently trying to loose 25 pounds and I’m one week in! I lost 5 pounds by eating 1500 calories a day and excercising for about an hour a day. I cut out red meat, snack on fruit during the day, and count the amount of carbs and fat I consume. you can’t go wrong
you’ll feel good too!
What a great diet help question:
Question: ok im 12 years old a white female, im 5′1 114 pounds!!! i feel way fat. all my friends wear a xs in aeropostale & i wear a medium in aero. n i have a lil muffin top. its not fair, i can’t wear tight shirts, cuz im so self conshius about me stomach that my stomach cant even be visible in my shirts. but can u give me some diets, that wont stunt my growth or something. all i wanna do is wear a 00 and xs like everybody else, and no i won’t throw up, don’t be sarcastic or rude or judgemental!
PLEASE ANSWERR! DESPERATE!! :/
AND STOP TYRING TO SELL UR DIET PILLS ON HERE PEOPLE NOBODYS WANTS TO BUY THEM, I WANT NATURALL ! JEEZZZZZZZ!
Answer: You’re 12. Most likely, if you don’t eat crap, you’ll lose it anyway.
When I was 12, I was your height and weighed about 147 pounds. Now, I’m almost 14, I’m 5"5 and I weigh about 119, which is normal. I didn’t do anything but be healthy.
And trust me, when you’re losing the weight, everyone else is going to be putting on weight. Looking like a doll isn’t all that great anyway. . .

Question: Im 6′3…235lbs…and i wanna start a work out program to get me to a lean/fit 205….i want to start training for mma. i got my work out all figured out…i just don’t have any idea what to do for a diet….any advice appreciated.
Answer: When you start training MMA assuming it’s a gym ask them to help you get your diet in order. Any decent trainer should have some info on that.
Otherwise lean proteins (fish, eggs, chicken, lean beef, beans, nuts, peanut butter, cottage cheese, milk), lots of fruit and vegetables (pick something you like and try to mix it up). Complex carbs (whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta etc.
If possible try for smaller more frequent meals.
I also suggest a protein supplement such as whey protein. Also multivitamin, creatine and ZMA if desired. The last two being not necessary.
Good ideas for snacks are almonds, peanut butter, cottage cheese. Fruits/vegetables.
Quit drinking alcohol and if you can only drink water or possibly sports drinks depending on how hard you work out.
Good luck!
What a great diet help question:
Question: My Doctor Recently Said That I Needed to Go on a Yeast Free Diet and I Am Not Sure Where to Begin. Help?
Answer: What you need to do is to get familiar with the foods that you can and canâ??t eat. Donâ??t worry, itâ??s not the end of the world getting diagnosed with yeast intolerance. First you will need to rid your body of the yeast toxins by taking a break from eating foods with yeast in them. This might be difficult at first but it will definitely pay off because you will feel better pretty quickly.

Another diet help question has come in this week. Let’s tackle it straight away:
Question: How can I lose weight while living at home? I eat what my parents eat so I can’t buy salads and things unless my parents have it?
Can someone advise me on how to lose weight while living at home?
I want to lose 20kg.
I’m 18 and I am 165cm and I weigh 75kg so I am way over weight.
Please some helpful answers…
Answer: According to Paul McKenna, there are 4 rules to losing weight.
1. Eat when you’re hungry. Your body knows when it needs food and when it doesn’t. (Explain to your parents that you know you’re overweight and you’re trying to get it under control before it becomes a health concern like diabetes.)
2. Eat what you want, not what you think you should have. This will keep you from feeling deprived.
3. Eat consciously and enjoy each mouthful. Pay attention to what you’re eating. Don’t read the paper, watch television, have conversations, or do anything else while you’re eating. And especially stay away from the computer. By paying attention to each bite and chewing slowly and deliberately enjoying each mouthful, you’re giving your body the opportunity to let you know when it’s had enough.
4. When you’re full, stop eating.
As you get used to following these rules, you’ll find you’re leaving food on your plate after each meal, or that you’re starting to take smaller portions or both. Soon you’ll find that you’re losing weight a little bit at a time. Remember that it’s not healthy to lose too much at once because your skin can’t snap back immediately. You won’t want to lose more than a kg (and probably a little less) each week to keep within a healthy range.

Question: I need a good Diet plan and help with losing weight. I’ve only been eating Chewy bars and some fruit! Is tht good? I might get some salad later too. And Losing weight. Is a homebody workout video good enough for me to lose weight? It’s the walk at home video and it has a full workout of 3 miles. Should I do that everyday? or Should I do it every other day? and can any of you sum of the amount of time it will take me to lose at least 5-7 pounds? Ive been doing the 3 mile workout everyday for the last 3 days.
Answer: chewy bars are good if they are the healthy ones like fiber one chewy bars, they’re only 90 calories and have grams of fiber. video and 3 mile workout are great. drink 12-14 8oz glasses of water per day (eat your calories rather than drinking them, i.e. soda, juice, etc.). eat lots of fruits and veggies, some protein and little of carbs and fat. eat six-eight meals a day rather than the traditional three to increase metabolism. and never deny yourself anything because you will crave it, everything in moderation is key. and berries, grapes, bananas, spinach, sweet potatoes, white potatoes with skin, whole grains, chick peas, kidney beans, and lean protein are great to reduce the waistline.
burn more calories than you consume. swimming, brisk walking and jogging are great calorie burners.
good luck

Question: i’m not getting anywhere. wat can i do to stop this pattern?? i know wat to do to loose weight i just don’t know how to not binge after a couple of days of dieting. any suggestions? advice? personal experience? please share but please no stupid links unless u have tried them and know that u don’t have to pay for the program. thanx
Answer: If you start a routine eating small meals throughout the day and- before you are starving, you can break the desire to binge.
When you restrict food, your body becomes starved and your mind cannot stand the deficit so you over eat.
The way to not over eat is to not under eat.
If you eat before you are famished, you have a better chance at exercising self control.

Question: I made a decision, recently. I have decided to try switching over to more suitable food, for health’s sake.
Basically, what I need is a diet that is healthy, and helps gain weight(I’m a little on the skinny side), and a daily exercise regime that builds up muscle, especially in the arms and chest area.
Thanks for contributing, ten points for the best answer.
No powders or anything. Just good, healthy foods.

Question: I’m 15 years old and 136 lbs. Well, my weight barely ever changes from that. I’m 5"3.
I always try to lose weight, but it doesn’t work!
I know this sounds silly, but is there a diet I can go on to make me look naturally thin?
What are some things I can eat/do?
I run, but that only adds muscle to my legs making them look even thicker.
They kind of touch, but I don’t want them to!
I also have very wide hips if that is important.
Help?

A diet help question that should definitely interest you all this week
Question: Last week I only had a shake, two granola bars,Maybe three glasses of orange juice orange juice,a small piece of pizza and water. All last week. That’s not really under the amount of calories I need. It’s not like I just had water. This isn’t the reason why I sometimes don’t eat but I don’t like seeing other people eat or people seeing me eating. I will eat but I just don’t like it at all. I’m not starving my self but I sometimes get this feeling where I want to be under weight. Do you not say no you don’t because that will really piss me off. I know its not a good thing. I am not asking you to give me a lecture about that. And also sometimes I think about suicide. I wish I could just poof away. This is actually quite often. Again I would NEVER commit suicide. NEVER. I know how much it would hurt my family and friends.
I’m 13. If you need information just tell me.
Idea’s Thoughts anything about this would be great.
*more information*
Don’t say therapy or talk to someone please please please. I am not here for you guys to tell me that. I am already in therapy because of something else. Thank you.
I am not going to take any medication that you guys tell me to either.
Answer: Being thin at 13 is not so bad. But don’t get anorexic. It has something to do with a past event or something. Because it does not happen very often that people don’t like to be seen eating. Or see others eat. In other words it is something in your mind that makes you think this way. When you eat, eat healthy and take vitamins for women. Eat at least one meal a day. If you don’t the organs in your body will start failing.
I’m glad to know you won’t commit suicide. You are young. Go out, have fun. Go buy something you like. too young to be thinking like that.
